NYS DOH Publishes DAL 14-01 Regarding ISPs in EHPs

The Department has published DAL 14-01 regarding the use of Individualized Service Plans (ISP) in Enriched Housing Programs (EHP).  By using the ISP, with an EHP addendum, the requirements for EHP case management evaluation and functional assessments may be met. The DAL may be found on the NYSCAL website as well as the Health Commerce System.  NYSCAL encourages all of its members to read this DAL in its entirety to fully understand there requirements and expectations of the Department.

EQUAL Applications Are Due This Friday, November 7

A reminder to all members that completed EQUAL applications are due no later than this Friday, November 7.

The DAL for Enhancing the Quality of Adult Living (EQUAL) Program SFY 2014-2015 has been posted to the Health Commerce System.  The application is an electronic application that is also accessed through the Health Commerce System. The DAL can also be found on the NYSCAL website at www.nyscal.org. NYSCAL encourages members to read the DAL in its entirety.

NCAL's Quality Initiative Recognition Program is designed to recognize those NCAL members that demonstrate the attainment of one or more of the four Quality Initiative Goals.  For assisted living communities, the four goals are:
