Author: Carla Erhartic

NYSCAL and NYSDOH strongly encourage you to make sure your roles in the Communications Role Directory are populated with the most current contact information.  You are also advised to make sure you access the Health Commerce System HCS frequently over the next several days as the Atlantic Storm is being tracked.  The Healthcare Evacuation Center (HEC) has been activated and will be monitoring the trajectory of the storm.  NYSCAL has regularly scheduled conference calls with NYC DOHMH, NYS DOH, NYCEM and other stakeholders.  Please check our websites at and for storm updates.  On the home page at the top will be a banner titled “Hurricane Joaquin” Updates.  We will post any storm related information on our website.  As with Hurricane Sandy, our team will be available to Providers and you can reach us via email or phone. We have attached a copy of the New York State Department of Health Healthcare Facility Evacuation Center Metropolitan Area Regional Office (MARO) Region Facility Guidance Document for the 2015 Coastal Storm Season for your reference.

Our email addresses are posted on the website and you can click here to access the list. If you need help with your HCS account, please contact Carla Erhartic of NYSCAL at or if you need technical assistance, please contact Technical Support 518-473-1809 or HCS support line at CAMU 866-529-1890 or NYS DOH Help Desk at 800-638-3808 or HCS Outreach via email at
