SSI Bill Moves In Senate. Contact Your Assemblyperson Today

Bill S.2137 (Serino)/ A.6715-A (Brindisi), legislation seeking to increase the Social Security Income (SSI) rate for those receiving enhanced residential care in Adult Care Facilities has passed the Senate in the final days of legislative session. This bill increases the rate in $4.00 per day increments each year until 2021 for a total increase of $20.00 per day. This bill has now passed the Senate, but has not moved in the Assembly since being amended in April. Legislative session ends on June 21st, to pass this bill in the Assembly we need your support!
